A brief summary of the functions of the different Rotract Clubs.

Professional Development – career enhancement. The Club provides opportunities for members to acquire leadership skills and enhance high ethical standards by organising talks and presentations, team building projects and taking part in mentorship programs with professionals in the field. Community Service - assisting society and the community around us. The Club takes part in and carries out various community service projects that tackle pertinent community concerns including food donation during the Muslim Holy month of Ramadhan to the Korogocho Muslim Community, financial and material support to the MCEDO, a primary school in Mathare, fellowship with PCEA Thogoto Home for the Aged and partnership with Nairobi City Council in cleaning the streets among others. International Service – build international understanding & peace. The Club engages in projects with national, regional and international Rotary, Rotaract and Interact clubs worldwide in order to promote world understanding and promote peace including promoting the Club website and keeping it updated. Club Service – club management. The Club focuses on ensuring effective Club management and fostering friendship by strengthening fellowship amongst members as well as fellow Rotaractors from other clubs through social functions such as birthday celebrations, sleep-overs and movie nights among others.
